And I'd be up for Gorum ads to let people know bout this forum. I was so glad to find it way back when I was an SL Gor newb oh those many years ago- it helped me get a feel for the setting, for the people, and helped me decide what sims I wanted to play in and what sims/people I wanted to avoid. LOL

It was an invaluable resource for me back then, and I still enjoy reading and posting on it after all these years.

Will be patient, wait for Ceri. But I am semi-serious. This is a fun little forum, I feel. Not for everybody, of course, since we do debate, sometimes with the argument knifes out. Not everyone likes that. Some just want to be cuddled, some don't care for discussions and differences of opinion, or are too busy doing other stuff. Which would probably mean they would just look or poke their head in, and then dissappear. But it would be good if people that do enjoy this sort of thing had a chance to learn about it. Good for us, good for them, good for the gorums. Many Gor players in SL have never heard about it, or just heard about it in vague terms, not enough to entice them to come have a looksee, to maybe stick around some.

We have taken steps to advertise a bit more in-world. We do have a clickable sign ou can hang in your store or home that opens a new browser to the forum portal page. (If you want one, just send me a PM here and I will pass it over in game)

Fabian DeSantis also put a huge advertisement ring for the Gorums in the hub right above the landing point. (Just look up) it should also be clickable.

As Gar pointed out we have a forums group. (Goreanforums.net) and you can find it in my profile in game (Ceri Kesten) free to join, and open enrollment.

If anyone wants to take it a step further to advertise on their own then go for it. However, I do have a few rules.

1. Don't make a pest of yourself to anyone. If people don't want to join, that is there choice.

2. Don't spam any groups, sims, or the hub. If you want to advert in the hub, you can give a shout with the board addy every 15 minutes as per the hub rules.

3. Don't trash other boards. Everyone is entitled to there opinion. If someone loves the other boards and hates the gorums, that is their opinion. If someone loves the gorums and hates other forums...same thing. That being said, when you advertise for the boards you have to be the "good example". That means, we keep it polite.

The same goes for the forum posts. I KNOW how tempting it is to trash other forums, especially when those forums were made to trash this one, but we need to be the bigger people here, after all...the people from "that forum" who were banned...have since admitted they still post here under anonymous names. *chuckles*...(Ironic huh?)....

So we can't be all that bad eh?
