I really think it's incredibly unfair to blame Oor for the idiocy of others. Let's be real - it's the internet. There are some truly fucked up people out there in the wild. I've met some of these people. Not everything Sarkeesian says is wrong. She makes good points. The problem is, she leaves out all of the good things about gaming.
Does this give people the moral right to make videos where they attack her for the way she looks, mispronouncing something, or taking a situation in a game differently from the way they (the video maker) would have? No, not really. And the funny part is, when they do this, they play into her narrative when they behave this way. They reinforce everything she says because they're behaving in the stereotypical way she describes. It's self-defeating in the extreme.
But, as you pointed out, this is horribly and I apologize for derailing it.
