I think we should go to your halloween party if you have that.
Or... you're invited if we have one!

I was the undead surgeon while my dad was "Howie Feltersnatch, GYN" (said so on his lab coat). He was...entirely freaky, he used to do stage makeup for an opera company so he did a great job of making himself look way older and his hair was hilarious. We all had a great time freaking kids out with our creepy garage-turned-laboratory...until the whole airsoft shooting incident.

Unless you're a Native American who has earned a war bonnet, it's pretty disrespectful to wear those.

If I won't put up with an in-character owner trying to control my OOC life, what makes you think I'll put up with you trying to do that?

It is not a headdress made by native americans nor it uses their rites :P, I won't make fun of their costumes either. last year I dressed up as priest and no one complained even a bit.

But it's purporting to be a war bonnet. :| It's still disrespectful to Native Americans to wear it.

It would be like me dressing up like a soldier and wearing medals for valor - like the Medal of Honor. That's incredibly disrespectful to the soldiers who did earn those medals. It's the same thing. You have to do something to wear a War Bonnet. The feathers actually mean something, and it's somewhat similar to the way military medals are.

I would dress up as a soldier with medals as well... It is halloween, a comemorative date that everyone dress up as someone else. I get your point, but this is just a fun day and not something people do all the time and take seriously. Well, I guess there is no point discussing it...

Not Halloween but I will be dressing as an aging Renaissance Lord at this summer's Renn Faire outside of Minneapolis.
Let me give you some advice bastard. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.
