A moment to explain how CoCE: Isle of Illyros is different:
We are a meterless sim, this does however not mean that we will be a place without conflict and bloodied battles. We wish to experience the danger and adventures from the books, from brutal battle to intrigues and backstabbing. Some people definitely will die...
(We are a perma-dead sim after all). But we want the focus to be on how these stories are written. We want slave-girls, Free Women and Free Men alike to be able to take actions and choices during battle which will matter or change the outcome. No longer will raids and battle be a shooter game, but a role play and storydriven game.

Secondly, we have and maintain stats for the various factions which correspond to the open feature roles
. Each faction and faction leader has at his or her command a large force of NPC soldiers, troops they can bolster and use to raid or fight their enemies. There will be raids, there will be captures, rapes, enslavement and murder, and some people will get crushed. Some will conquer and some will lose. The combat rules
are pretty simple, but can get pretty complicated when it comes to the army battles. Therefore we've created a calculator that does all the maths for you, all you've to do is enter the rolls and see the results pour out: http://counterearth.enjin.com/meeseeks
