Ohhhh so much hair!

Postby Ceri the Urt » Fri Jul 24, 2015 12:33 pm

I still have a fondness for Exile, Truth, Elikatira and Wasabi Pills, but with the hair fair going on I realized how many new makers are out there, so whats your favorite?

Lets get some reviews going.
Please include a 5 start rating system. 1= not so good. 5=awesome
Also for categories: Good Mesh
Colors
Texture (to flat, to shiny)
Boob fit (not good for small chested, not good for large breasted)
Styles (variety)
Hub controlled color options or not.
Mens and Ladies styles?

And anything else you think may be important.

I'm not a fan of Wasabi Pills actually. I used to be, but now it seems as if they are really outdated compared to a lot of the other makers out there. Of late their mesh has gotten better, but their textures are just blah and need updating badly.

Little Bones! It's the best. Seriously.
Textures are amazing and natural looking, some of her colors kind of suck though. (Brown is iffy), but her mesh is really well done, and it comes in multiple sizes to fit better.

I used to love Wasabi Pills, but last time I went there, it was pretty...dated, yes.

I can't stand Little Bones. I just don't like the hairs at all. :|

I bought some Exile hairs...very much liked them.

Truth is hit or miss. The hard part with him is finding hair I like that fits whatever setting I'm in. Tho I haven't looked recently.

If I won't put up with an in-character owner trying to control my OOC life, what makes you think I'll put up with you trying to do that?

Little bones took me a while to get used to. You're right about Truth, lately it is hit or miss!

Tableau! I always want to like their hair, but for some reason they look... off.. on my avatar. I don't know why. I wish I could figure it out because I do like their stuff.

might be face shape vs. what the hair is meant for. I've found that for Liara's shape, some hairs look really strange because of how her face is shaped.

That's probably it. I have the same issue with Exile hairs. I think they look great on other people, just not me haha.

I need some fantastic updos. Any ideas?

Last day for the Hair Fair. Nothing sucks my money away faster, not even the Steam Sale. :fleeflee:

Here's some awesome that I've found, few designers you may not have heard of:
Red Mint
Murray
Besom
Blueberry- adore their clothes, now I love them even more, 100% of the proceeds from their hair there is going to charity!
Blues
Exxess
Fiore
Iconic
Kik
Kokolores
Mina
Mithral Apothacary
Murray
Runaway

Not sure how late they're staying open, but if you're fast you can hit it- lots of freebies if you're short on cash.
