Ceri from a photography standpoint, I rather LOVE mesh outfits.

For day to day wear/use... HATE them. Even if the "non curvy" options usually wind up fitting thyri awesomely. I too hate the "floaty" effect.

As for mesh hair... I hate how it doesnt move. It kind of sits there like helmet head. I'll be interested to see what comes down the pipe as designers integrate flexi with mesh. I can see some real good things coming from this.

I also have to agree... mesh boots ROCK. And i'm really looking forward to seeing mesh feet coming out (if they havent already) mesh peeptoe shoes oh hell to the yeah!

I think this technology is just in its infancy. I can forsee a lot of good coming from this. I DO love how mesh skirts sit now. No more knees poking out of the dress. No more looking at my (very unflattering) glitch pants covered legs as I walk. But the tops just.... umm... no... I think there are still strides to be made there.

I love what I have tried of mesh so far. Having a demo available is always great but so far my best find are boots and hair.

This is my favorite even without it being flex.

I won't be making a big investment in mesh items until the mesh capable viewers becomes more of a standard.

That is the thing. Most people that want to look good to others and most sim owners won't want to get mesh stuff until most can see it. And the creators won't focus on mesh until people will want to buy it (even though they may want to, because of the new possibilities). So... up to LL and third party viewer creators, now. But I see many people still using viewer 2 or phoenix (still use it myself) and other third party viewers. Not that many using firestorm or viewer 3.

I pretty much have one recurring thought when I see ads for Mesh...

Congrats. You can now make baggy pants, with a low hanging crotch, we get it.

I think Mesh has a long way before it becomes standard, newest fad... it'll fade and pop back when someone gets to modify it.

I use Phoenix cause my mouse is too loose on Firestorm and I'm just used to it. Firestorm has pretty much reached Phoenix for me though... I can rezz fashion fairs in minutes rather than hours and crash.

Also high graphics are supported better... ahhh mesh... hope you'll be doing that soon.

Singularity is just like Phoenix and sees mesh fine. Very light, too.

Heard that. And I heard that phoenix was going to incorporate the code for that from the Singularity viewer into phoenix. Was sort of hoping that would have been done already.

Been demoing one of the first Primus mesh bows, its really neat looking, for mesh I think it may work for things like high prim detailed weapons better then it will for things like clothing.
