But I gotta say, the boys are both idiots, but so is Katniss! She's such a drama queen! I mean, you just don't have a mental breakdown while everyone else keeps working, you go 'ok crisis time, pull your shit together!'

I don't care about psychology or stuff, its not a good character to model behaviour on if this is the 'new twilight for the pre-teen/teen/young adult readership' -a sooky cry baby who can't make her damn mind up, acts irresponsibly and overal whinges 24/7? GRR!

Yeah... books are very easy reads... quite enjoyable, but ... yes... people are dying all around, and the protagonist mostly busy with her boyfriend problems, teenage drama and recovering in hospitals. Which is why I put the third one down, at some point. Got annoying.

Besides Peeta, who I'll admit was kind of one-dimensional and too pefect, (though I'm still team Peeta!) I thought all of the characters were well rounded, and the plot - awesooooome.

Team Judas all the way. Like Glaucon I suffered the last book. The series had potential but I think the movie was let down by the book.

I will never get the time I wasted on these ebooks back. Ever.

i'm of the same mind as katniss. would love them both, peeta and gale, for similar and different reasons. would be confusing as hell to decide. gale would be my rock,my family. i'd eagerly look forward to each day i could strap on my bow and go hunting together with with gale; we would both be skilled, and know the forest, communicate without words, move in sync. we can take care of ourselves. peeta on the other hand was raised as a baker's son with some special privileges in district 12 and never hunted, is clumsy in the forest, but an amazing artist and excellent communicator who could help me organize and complete my thoughts and put them into words. funny as hell. and i know he would do anything to protect me and in turn i would sacrifice my life to protect him. both are good guys. knowing they both love me... wow... it would be a very hard choice to make if i had to pick one... i'd be torn...
