GE influence on BtB Gor - The poll

PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING!

Should GE people be allowed to RP and raid in BtB Gor?

1. Absolutely. It is nobody's business where people spend their time outside BtB Gor. Or if they only come to BtB for meter combat.

2. Yes. But only to RP.

4. No. They never manage to fit in the gorean genre.

5. Never. GE has an absolute negative influence on BtB Gor and should be kept out at all costs.

I think this is caused by undervaluing the male player who is not an outlaw or a Warrior. Why would they waste their time in a genre where wanting to focus on writing means you are "tea party" or "ungorean". I miss those writers.

The problem I experienced was about GE joining a sim as warriors (red caste), showing up when raids, and RPing on the sim,(when they RPed, what, one hour or two hours per week, max?

Else, I would say that even the worst BTB sim, is still more Gorean than the best GE sim. BTB sim can play a bad Gor, yes, but as GE sims play Conan the Barbarian, trying to make a comparison between GE and BTB would be like wanting to compare a berry with a cucumber, finally.

Too, when the BTB label has been created, it was because many sims were tired to be attacked by the ridiculous hordes of Ms Conan (as Norman calls himself the female warriors). BTB means simply: No female fighters (other than panther girls)

So, as us, BTB RPers, we recognize easily that our BTB is far to be perfect, can we hope, that some day, GE admit that they do not RP Gor, as long as they continue to ruin one of its first pillars?

I know that you wernt the first to mention this, but i coudlnt be bothered to read all the pages of responses tonight.

The people I know personally who log on the fight in BTB combat and then vanish arn't in GE, they're o their female avies.

LOL Yes...I raise my hand and say guilty as charged. I logged in my mantoon a couple times to raid only when I was in Savage Pass.

Well, then at least their years of playing panther (when they got to be good at pew pew) come in handy. ;)
