I do not think sl alts are the big issue here. I think a few people have been wondering if people that are banned on this forum have come back in some new incarnation. Is that not something people can be interested in? Why make such a big issue over those forum bans if the banned can simply make a "forum alt" - and then proceed as if nothing happened? You really want to bring out the green pen to silence such questions? Why? Is it not in your interest and the interest of the forum owners that your bans mean something?

No. The reason I choose not to disclose who I am is because I don't like people I am RPing with to associate me with the "gorums" mentality in world. My particular RP group does not look kindly upon these forums. I never bring my experiences here to the RP, but I know many people do and I've had some bad experiences in the past that I'd rather not repeat. The important people know who to contact in world should it be necessary.

My insecurity, inability to separate OOC from IC, immaturity, jealousy, lack of people wanting to roleplay with me, lack of creativity.... Yes yes. Those are all my reasons for suggesting Alts might give a sim a bad name.
