Like many above, I don't feel that there is anything wrong with assassins teaming up. And I don't think there is any need to 'confirm' this with the victim, or for it to be 'fair'. All that matters is that it is all done in character, and that the reason for the contract(s) is based on IC RP and not some OOC issue, as well.
