@Danika I will probably get my hand slapped for saying this but when I read your posts I really think you are a bit...full of shit. Maybe I have been on the net too long and have become jaded. But when I hear someone talk about their fabulous real life of surfing, moving making, etc then at the same time they talk about owning a sim which I think would also take up a lot of time, I think they have one foot in the doorway of non reality.

one of the biggest issues i see with organized religion is how selective people are about what they choose to affirm their faith. i had a discussion once with a born again Christian who said everything in the bible was the word of god. i said, maybe it's men writing various books claiming to speak for god. she said no, it's the word of god. so i said, noah was accidentally found laying drunk and naked in bed by one of his sons. noah gouged his son's eyes out for seeing him naked. and it was all good as far as the bible was concerned. does that mean it's ok to gouge your child's eye out if they see you naked? she argued, no it wasn't in her bible. ahh, i said, not in your new Christian edition, and you see, your bible text has been edited and sanitized by men. the original text has it. here, let me show you. and is it ok to stone women for adultery? the bible says so. islam says the Qur'an is the direct word of god too. as for the king james version... well, it's funny how Christians are quick to call gay people sinners. but did you know king james was as queer as a nine dollar bill? yep, king james was very gay. in fact, he asked his subjects to call him queen james...

people are very selective in choosing their truths. they see what they want to see and discard the rest. and unfortunately, religious scriptures, tracts, are often framed to suit the political agendas of men in power. you can pretty much frame things anyway you like it to suit your agenda. people use religion to subjugate women in so many countries, force underaged women into marriages under the threat of beatings and death.

this was a very good scene from 'the last temptation of Christ' that sums up what i'm saying here:

An excellent idea! I believe limiting the telling of all the bs stories to you will work well.

Honestly i dont quite see why you people are picking on Danika. As far as i can tell, she didnt insult or attack anyone, she made another of her typical posts commenting on something while being a bit self centered. That's not a grave sin really, especially when you are young and all, and certainly there are worst behaviours to comment on this forum, if we start doing that, than Danika's. Maybe im missing something cause iv been away and disinterested for a long time or maybe exactly because i have been away and disinterested im seeing you people overeacting. I think if we start scrutinizing people so much, especially people who have been here along time, nobody will be left in the end to post in these forums.
