The Game of Thrones

Ok I have already watched the first episode twice! What an AMAZING new series based on the books by George R. R. Martin. HBO is doing a REMARKABLE job portraying this world....

I have to say I agree 100%. Another show to wait for on the edge of your seat each week for sure.

As someone who already admitted to an unhealthy admiration for the jolly old author of the books, who looks like Santa Claus on a rough day, I couldn't wait for the first episode to launch.

Watching it at 8 AM in the morning despite being sick and I gotta say, it's absolutely wonderful what the crew of HBO and especially the two producers created on screen for us. It's not a 'perfect' book adaption (whatever that may mean) and I sure as hell would have one or two little things to nitpick about but all in all I felt truly entertained for the full hour it went on, I had hoped they do a double-episode for the pilot but then, I am satisfied with where they stopped.

And I hope it will reach a widely varied audience beyond those who read the books to prolong its life, who knows maybe if they put all five books to the proverbial celluloid, Mr. Martin will be quicker to finish the next two! :D

PS.: LOVED the intro !

Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with the first episode.

I did laugh at the end though when everyone else in the house gasped.
