Tim Curry would be almost perfect or Ben Kingsley.

Not all obscure, some become so by age

Dog Day afternoon
The Battle of Algiers
Blue velvet
Logan's run
Angel Heart
vanishing point
They Live
Death at a funeral
Southern comfort
Duel
Idiocracy
The Wrestler
Sha Po Lang
In The Loop

I look for older and non-English movies now that Hollywood is spiraling through repetition.

Moon Zero Two. 60's sci-fi set on the moon. As hard science as it gets, and a western to boot. One of my favorite films.

Also available as a great MST3K episode.

"Bury my turtle hat at wounded knee."
There used to be a gif here. It was awesome. But it's gone now.

Pelo snagged my first choice.
"The Fountain". Still my most favorite movie ever.

But most obscure?
"Rubin and Ed"
An entire movie about two men trying to bury a cat.
And I am taking the ribbon since it has surprisingly big names in it, for the time.

This movie is amazing  Really surprised me and surprised a lot of people.. had some great reviews. It's nothing like I have seen before... hard to describe what it's about.. just have to watch it.

Probably not as obscure as the movie above but my all time favorite.
