Did anyone add in the Boondock Saints and do you know they are coming out with a second one? Well now you do.

Boondock Saints in overratted. It's not too bad though. Sequel was meh.

Clockwork orange is smarter than some people even know. Then again, that's why these movies tend to be obscure.

Hmm should start an obscure music thread I think.

Forgot about Soylent Green, Gattaca (well, not really obscure), Todo sobre mi madre, La vita è bella, these japanese Mothra-movies (they re SO crappy, they can almost be considered a cult), Nosferatu.

I don't know if it's obscure or not but the other movies in this thread remind me of that movie Heavenly Creatures, with Kate Winslet. Two young girls with an overactive fantasy life fall in love and plot to kill the ones mother so they can be together. Was based on a true story I think.

My friend told me it was a good movie, but that I should really not see it if I wasn't ok with lesbian scenes. Mind you, this is a RL new friend, so I just explained that it didn't bother me but the internal laughter was hard to cover. I kinda wish Sabi had been there for that one.

HAHAHAH
It's not the lesbians scenes that make it creepy - it's more the pubescant "let's be lesbian lovers and kill your mom so we can be together 4evah" that makes you :? also that it's a true story.

Clockwork Orange is an awesome movie, I was trying to force my girl to watch it this last weekend (it was on normal TV) but she fell asleep (lazy girl!) .

Boondock Saints...top 10 best action films ever for sure.

Gattaca has to be one of the coolest movies I watched as a teenager. The scary part is its coming true, the wealthy are slowly beginning to choose the sex of their children and are slowly being able to screen for and sometimes "nudge" the developing fetus into certain directions. In my lifetime (i am 23) I think we will see "Gattaca" style children as common place, with the beginnings being sometime in the next 15-20 years.
