Seems like a very long battle that has been going on between the commies and the capitalists for a very long time...

Yea I do love political cartoons on either side.
There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him

This was an interesting read, I do not buy the notion that genes influence it at this point but it was something to ponder.

Santorum has suspended his campaign, the field of potential contestants shortens.

Had it been Newt dropping out in favor of Santorum a while ago, Santorum might have stood a chance, still. Even if a very slim one. But the other way around? I don't see that happening. Maybe some people that voted Santorum will now settle on Gingrich as the obvious right wing guy that isn't Romney, but... there is Newt's questionable morality and general unpleasantness. I doubt he will pick up many of the votes that would otherwise have gone to Santorum.

I'd say that with this, the GOP candidate is known. No brokered convention. Paul and Gingrich may pick up a little extra now, but... they are hardly allies. And Romney will be collecting delegates... and get enough before it is convention time.

Sure, they may fight on, but... the race is run, really. Already, the campaign is moving towards Romney vs Obama rhetoric.
